We are so excited to have you join us in Yokohama this week!

Before you head out, here are some items to prepare you for an adventurous weekend:

Before You Arrive:

• Update your Pokémon GO app
o Ensure that you have the newest version of the Pokémon GO app for the best experience as you begin your quest at the park.

• International Attendees
o As you prepare for your trip to Yokohama, we wanted to make sure our international guests have fast and reliable data connectivity at Pokémon GO Fest 2019.

 If you currently have a non-JP cell phone carrier, please consider making arrangements with your wireless carrier to enable international cellular data connectivity during your visit to Japan. Many carriers disable international data roaming by default. Your carrier may charge additional fees for this service.
For the best possible gameplay experience at Pokémon GO Fest 2019, we recommend international attendees purchase SIM cards with coverage provided by Softbank, NTT docomo, KDDI (au). While your non-JP carrier may be able to provide international data roaming in Japan, the speed and reliability of service may be slower compared to the service provided by Japanese cell phone carriers.

• Directions to the Event
o For directions to the event, please see here.
o Please use public transportation to come to this event.
o Take a look at the Event Map here for entrances overview, public transportation and in-park navigation.

 
o Make sure you head directly to the entrance mentioned on your in-app ticket.

• Checking In
o Admission: 10:00 – 17:00
o No physical tickets will be distributed for this event. To begin your Pokémon GO Fest experience, please head over to the park assigned to you, highlighted on your in-app ticket.

• Known Issues
o If you are seeing any issues with GO Snapshot, please try turning off AR+ mode.
o Please refer our Known Issues Page for more details.

• Notes
o Every park has same spawn. You don’t need to move to another park.
o Please be careful about heat stroke and stay hydrated.

What to Look Forward to:

• Merchandise
o Pokémon GO Fest will have a Pokémon GO Fest Merchandise Booth onsite at each park.
 Rinko Park - 14:00-20:00
 Yamashita Park - 11:00-17:00
 Akarenga Park - 14:00-20:00
o Accepted payments: cash only.

• Photo spot
o Pokémon GO Fest will have many photo spots, so enjoy taking GO Snapshot pictures at the venue!

• Special trade
o Ticket holders will have opportunities to do 5 special trades during the event instead of 1 per day, and will have reduced requirements for stardust. Please take advantage of this perk and enjoy trading your Pokémon with others.
Use #PokemonGOFest2019 and tag @PokemonGOAppJP on social media throughout the weekend. Don’t forget to add #GOsnapshot when posting AR photos.
